NO. it is not advisable to take head bath or wash your face immediately after cataract surgery. You can bath below neck from the next day of surgery. Head bath can be taken after your doctor’s advice in your first post -operative follow up. It is advised to avoid shikakai powder/ besan powder for 1 year after surgery You can use shampoo or soap Avoid having bath in ponds/rivers and swimming pools for one year
